DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Purpose

RepRewind (“RepRewind,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users to do the same. This DMCA & Copyright Policy explains how copyright owners may report alleged copyright infringement involving content available through RepRewind.com or our related services (the “Service”). This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to upload any content submitted to RepRewind. This includes, but is not limited to, football game film, practice film, highlight videos, training videos, images, documents, audio, and other uploaded content. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you own the content or you have permission from the copyright owner or other authorized party to upload and share the content through RepRewind.

3. Copyright Infringement

RepRewind prohibits the unauthorized use of copyrighted material. Examples of potential copyright infringement include uploading game film owned by another school without permission, uploading footage owned by a broadcaster, uploading another person's highlight video as your own, or copying written reviews or other protected content without authorization. If we receive a valid copyright complaint, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content while we investigate.

4. Filing a Copyright Complaint

If you believe material on RepRewind infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to team@reprewind.com. Your notice should include:

1. Your full name and contact information.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
3. Identification of the material you believe is infringing, including enough information for us to locate it.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may delay our review.

5. Our Response

After receiving a substantially complete copyright complaint, RepRewind may review the complaint, temporarily remove or disable access to the reported content, notify the user who uploaded the content, request additional information from either party, and take any other action reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law. Submitting a complaint does not guarantee that content will be permanently removed.

6. Counter-Notification

If your content has been removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was made in error or that you have the legal right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notification should include your name and contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court (where applicable), and your physical or electronic signature. RepRewind will review counter-notifications and respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. Repeat Infringers

RepRewind reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts belonging to users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others. Whether a user is considered a repeat infringer will be determined by RepRewind based on the circumstances of each case.

8. False Claims

Submitting knowingly false copyright complaints or counter-notifications may expose the sender to legal liability. RepRewind reserves the right to take appropriate action against users who knowingly misuse this process.

9. Preservation of Evidence

RepRewind may retain records relating to copyright complaints, counter-notifications, communications, and affected content as reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate claims, and protect the rights of RepRewind and its users.
